Welcome to www.keralaheritage.org.It is an independent, non profit organization focused with the aim of preserving and protecting the rich cultural heritage of Kerala,especially the heritage of Aranmula. We are a group of non-profit professionals with expertise in numerous areas of heritage protection under the leadership and guidance of Sri.Kummanam Rajasekharean,former Governor of Mizoram. We work together to explore how best to protect our nature.It aims at helping and preserving the rich heritage intact and will seek to promote the unique culture and bliss of enthralling beauty as well as the rich tradition and heritage of Kerala.This organisation go conjointly with the Aranmula heritage Trust with the following objectives
Our Objectives
- To preserve the natural heritage of Kerala.
- To preserve the environment including watersheds, natural Streams, forests and wildlife and to start Institutions/Centers for imparting education, training, research, workshops and study circles, etc.
- To promote Eco clubs and pro-environmental action groups and to create awareness and concern about the diversity among the public, to undertake publications in print, visual and other media on matters relating to the heritage, culture, environment, arts and literature and to impart environmental education programmes for children, youth, women, etc.
- To set up a Heritage Museum with Heritage items such as Palliyodam (Snake Boat), Aranmula Kannadi, Thiruvonathoni, Artifacts, etc. and Heritage Villages or Kara in and around Aranmula and other areas in the country with active involvement of people living there.
- To set up centers to give education/training in Performing Arts with special emphasis on Heritage forms such as ‘Vallappattu’, ‘Vallamkali’, ‘Kaikottikkali’ etc. Organise Heritage festivals involving traditional performing art forms such as Patayani, Kooth, Theyyam, Mohiniyattam, Kaikottikali, Thiruvathira, etc., along with exhibition of heritage items including food and food products.
- To undertake social service and philanthropic activities irrespective of Caste, Creed, Religion, sex without any discrimination, take initiatives in undertaking welfare activity for the public, to collaborate with Government and Non- Governmental agencies by starting academic, technical, medical and community schools and colleges, research institutions, social defence forums and development centres. Since a significant number of our youngsters are living abroad and many of them have become global citizens, Aranmula Heritage Village Project aims at preserving and nurturing our great heritage for the present and to all the generations to come and also to promote it globally.

- To take up programs that will inculcate among children, women, etc., the values such as self-reliance, self-determination, self-discipline, love for one another, patriotism, national integration and universal humanistic approach.
- To work for protection of Human Rights especially of children, women, ethnic groups, etc., and giving them legal aid and support, and to act in all means to get justice to them.
- To conduct periodic lectures, meetings, conferences, seminars, workshops and surveys on matters of health, agriculture, cooperation, ecology, environment, biodiversity, etc.
- Work for the benefit of the general public, irrespective of caste, creed, gender, colour or religion.
